Central Minnesota
Severe Thunderstorm
Tadd Parris
Took off from Waconia around 11am to meet the storms near Hwy 12. Hit
the storms at Waverly and didnt notice to much action. The storm when I
arrived became outflow very quickly and then formed a shelf cloud.
Experienced some nickle hail and winds upto 50mph, nothing compared to what the
cities had.

| Looking West from
Waverly at a shelf developing. |
This area ahead of the
shelf had some impressive rotation but nothing would occur. |
Shelf now showing its
smile and teeth. |
 |
 |
 |
| Looking back at the SW
area getting intense. |
Looking north at the
shelf fully formed and moving east. |
Another vantage of the
shelf. |

 |
 |
| Dust and debris on Hwy
7 |
More dirt flying
around. |
The very western edge
of that whole MCS showing the updrafts being sucked in. |
