Well was not planning on chasing for the day, actually we weren't even supposed to receive rain until Saturday.  I saw the storms earlier in SD, but didn't think they would make it to this area.  When I saw the storms near Wilmar I knew I had to give it a shot, even with the drier and cooler air ahead of it.  Made it to an area just East of Hutchinson, Minnesota where I first caught glimps of the system.  Was a very dark and bad contrast type setup which I tried to do my best.  When the shelf was nearly overhead it had the best structure with striations all over the place.  Overall a very fun and productive chase close to home.

Those white patches you see were actually holes in the clouds which would form then go away quickly. Striations really stacking ahead of me.
